In addition to a selection of ONLY the best reviewed DVD titles here at MovieOutburst, we’ve updated the store to add Blu-Ray titles that are even more selective. Only 3-star movies that would benefit from the extra clarity are featured in the Blu-Ray section.
Coming soon, we’ll be adding book titles that go with the movies.

I’ve moved away from my personal Twitterfeed and made a new dedicated feed @MvBurst (which is located in the column at the right). My first choice was an inactive account which has not been released, while my second choice was a suspended account (also not released). Third time is said to be the charm!
In addition to posting when I release new movie reviews, the Twitterfeed will serve as a platform for quotes I like and the occasional interesting tidbits from my favorite celebs.
Next up will be the official Movie Outburst icon, followed by some advertising to drum up traffic on the site. Stay tuned for more “quick and dirty” movie reviews!

There’s a new feature, an alphabetical listing of all the movies reviewed on this site, now available on the sidebar under ‘Pages’. Eventually this listing will also be on the header, most likely replacing the ‘Archives’ page.
We’ve also added some new categories: dance musical, stage adaptation, anime, XXX/adult, and hentai. After long debate, we will not be adding a separate LGBT category, preferring instead to leave that under the broader term ‘romantic’ (and most likely drama).
Happy Viewing!

I would like to thank everyone for stopping by my new weblog of movie reviews.
Movie Outburst assumes you already know the plot of the film you want to see; you just want to find out quickly if it sucks. Posts will cover a variety of old and new movies, but we specialize in the esoteric.
